2019-2020 Tuition & Fees
School Tuition Organization (STO)
The Our Faith, Our Children, Our Future School Tuition Organization (STO) is a charitable organization representing all of the Catholic K-12 schools in the Archdiocese of Dubuque and St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Waverly. The STO receives voluntary cash contributions from Iowa taxpayers and allocates those funds in tuition assistance grants to Iowa school children, who in turn, use those grants to attend one of the schools represented by the STO. At least 90% of the money received by the STO is allocated to students through tuition assistance grants.
The STO offers tuition assistance to families based upon their identified financial need and the amount of money available in the program, as determined by an outside agency.
The STO has provided more than 22,000 grants exceeding $21.4 million. Each gift is an investment in the future of a child and helps families in need of tuition assistance afford the education of their choice.
Local Tuition Assistance
In some cases, further evaluation of a family's financial situation may be warranted due to unusual circumstances not reflected by their financial information. If an STO financial award is inadequate, parents are strongly encouraged to complete Sacred Heart's Tuition Assistance Appeal Form.
Families can earn tuition credit by purchasing gift cards through Sacred Heart Parish's SCRIP program.
Call the school office at 563-652-3743 for more information on any of these tuition assistance programs.
